I Knew It Couldn't Last

I got a horrific cold / flu / Andromeda Strain virus last weekend, and it's played hell with my writing schedule. I'm just now coming out of the illness-induced doldrums, and haven't done a single creative thing all week. But I did succumb to the temptation to sign back into World of Warcraft.

In my defense, I have to say that I've been alternately sneezing and coughing so much that creative writing was definitely an impossibility. I did manage to watch both seasons of AMC's "Mad Men" (and a great series it is, too) but I was getting a bit tired of passive entertainment. And I'm still paid up through March, so I figured, what the hell.

Levels 60 - 70 are a LOT faster now. Whee! My Horde hunter is just eating up the levels now. Hopefully I'll get him to 70 before the expansion comes out. I might even finish leveling my old Alliance toons, too. Shouldn't take long, at this crazy rate.
